Please see the map below to familiarise yourself with our facilities<\/p>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5>For Wheelchairs and Mobility Scooters<\/h5>\n<p>Deep Sea World is all wheelchair and mobility scooter friendly with ramps all the way through the aquarium.\u00a0 We as that all wheelchairs and mobility scooters do not go on the moving walkway as this can damage the chairs and the walkway.\u00a0 There is a solid floor all the way round our underwater tunnel which is safer for wheelchairs.<\/p>\n<p>Some of our ramps are quite steep when exiting the aquarium. If you need assistance please let one of our staff know and they will assist in helping you get around. We have wheelchair friendly toilet facilities opposite our shark classroom. Please see the map below to familiarise yourself with our facilities<\/p>\n<p>We do not have a lift.<\/p>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5>For Carers<\/h5>\n<p>Carers are free when they are attending with someone with a disability. One Carer is admitted free with each paying Disabled Guest where required. Proof of requirment of a carer is required by the disabled guest.<\/p>\n<p>Accepted forms of eligibility include;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attendance Allowance Letter (AA)<\/li>\n<li>Essential Companion Card<\/li>\n<li>Access Card<\/li>\n<li>Disability Living Allowance Letter (DLA)<\/li>\n<li>Personal Independence Payments (PIP)<\/li>\n<li>Armed Forces Independence Payments (AFIP)<\/li>\n<li>Valid Blue Badge<\/li>\n<li>Letter from GP\/Consultant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(All must be dated within the last 6 months)<\/p>\n<p>Many carers prefer to visit at quieter times which is difficult for us to guarantee.\u00a0 We recommend not visiting around the lunch period on weekends, especially if it is raining.
